Busbee's Trucks & Parts started in August 1987 as a shop for paint and body work. The owner, Doug, expanded to rebuilding and selling salvage vehicles, using a 1988 Mitsubishi FUSO for transport. In 1999, after a friend's salvage yard closed, Doug opened his own salvage yard, hiring a trusted colleague. A friend suggested a website in 2004, which helped grow the business globally. Facing difficulties in sourcing parts for his transport vehicle, Doug shifted focus to parts for foreign medium duty trucks like Isuzu, Mitsubishi FUSO, Nissan UD, and Hino. Busbee's is known for its quick service and affordable, quality used parts. Now, Busbee's employs over 20 people and continues to mentor young men attending High School/College. Doug said, “I never dreamed a country boy from a one-red-light town in SC would today ship trucks and parts all over the world.”
